Lunch with the Ladies

Jen, Mom, and I had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen today, and it made me realize that as excited as I am about moving to Idaho, I am so going to miss being able to spend time with my mom and my sister together. Jen is going to be living in my basement in Idaho, so missing her isn't much of an option, but mom is another story. I look forward, however, to how sweet the times we will spend together will be. I cannot wait for our first vacation East, when we will both have so many stories to exchange and things to talk about.

Most girls get this "leaving home" experience when they go to college, but I never did. Since I went to St. John's (in Annapolis) I still pretty much lived at home, and could at least see my family whenever I wanted. This transition will be a difficult one, but I look forward to seeing the ways God uses it to bring us closer to Him.
