In an attempt to comfort me when I found out I would be the only girl in my 9th grade class, my mom told me that maybe God was preparing me to have 5 boys when I have children. If that is the case, I want Bran to build bunk beds just like these for them (how awesome is the nautical theme??)
I was given several gift cards as wedding gifts, and finally got around to using some of them today. I bought these vases from Crate & Barrel, which will go up in our "Green" living room/library. I also bought a replacement lamp shade for a pottery barn lamp that was given to us. I bought a shade at Target a few weeks ago, but it wasn't the right kind and would only go on upside-down, so hopefully the one I bought from Pottery Barn will actually fit it. And as those of you who know me know, I love organizing things, so I also bought myself a cute set of leather pouches to help organize my purse.
I love the open glass cabinet look in the kitchen. My dream kitchen has dark wood, glass cabinets. It would make me keep things in clean and tidy, too, since i couldn't hide anything!

ReplyDeleteOhh fun!! My dad built a kitchen for a client like those, and they had cool vintage bubble glass in them. I have always loved the idea of them. I love those bunkbeds too! :)
