Bran and I are supposed to fly out of Spokane tomorrow morning at 7 for Norfolk, Va., and then drive to North Carolina from the Airport... please pray for us - the weather is terrible! As you know from my previous posts, we've had lots of snow lately. Well, last night it snowed another 6 or 7" bringing our total to around 20". On top of that, it's been very warm today (around 33 degrees) which made the snow turn to mix, then to just rain! So there's a layer of icy junk on top of the snow now, which is going to make driving interesting. The rain is supposed to stop by 4pm today, but its supposed to start again tomorrow sometime. Our plan as of right now is to leave tonight for the airport, and then just hang out there until our flight. Everything is still on time at this point, which is good news. I've been studying up on winter driving precautions and tips, so we'll be set if we have any issues, and plus my husband might just be the best driver I know, so I know he'll keep us safe. As it is, we'll be able to really take our time and get there with plenty of time to spare, rather than trying to rush at 4 in the morning to get going.
We're so excited about our trip! I've got the bags packed, and I'm ready to go!
I'm praying for you two:)
