It's good to throw up, it's good to throwup, it means baby's growing, it's good to throw up.....

I spent all day yesterday feeling just ick. Yes, "ick" is the very best way to describe it. Not miserable, not good, just ick. It didn't help that I was forcing myself not to nap, since I've been pretty much comatose for the past few days thanks to lots of travel and not lots of normal sleep. But nevertheless, I was able to stay up until *gasp* 10:30 last night when I happily fell right asleep. I woke up this morning feeling like a new woman.

I finally took my mom's advice and bought some saltine crackers to keep in my nightstand and have before I get up in the morning (the sodium and the food-in-the-stomache both help combat nausea). So when I woke up at 9, I ate a few crackers, then slowly got out of bed, fully expecting to feel like I had lost a battle with a mack truck all day. I was happy to find that after a bowl of cereal, some prenatal vitamins, and a nice hot shower, I was feeling like a million bucks.

I cleaned the house, made lunch for Bran, and was sitting on the front porch thinking about how I spent all day yesterday thinking I was going to puke when all of a sudden out of NOWHERE I thought to myself, "oh my gosh here it comes" I literally jumped off the porch, through the front door, straight into the bathroom and over the toilet. A few minutes later I was brushing my teeth for the second time this morning, and thinking that I was glad I puked before I ate my yummy Macaroni Grill lunch, and not after. That would have been such a waste of a good meal.
