Friday Finds

Today was the quintessential blustery fall day. I loved it! {via}

Here is this week's roundup of fun things from the world wide interwebs:

If I were better at embroidery If I were creative at all, I would make something like this to hang on Emma's wall.  I love that it's a cake!

This Cheese & Burger Society website is too cool.  The design is awesome, let alone those delicious looking burgers (with recipes!). Thank you, Wisconsin Cheese!

I think it is the neatest thing when people turn ordinary things into something unexpected.  Case in point, these amazing cities made out of everything from staples to poker chips.

I'm stowing away this Paper boat place cards how-to from Martha.  This would be adorable for a little boy's birthday!

Happy October! Have a lovely weekend.

  1. awwww, love the boat place cards!

    hey, this is probably a stupid question...but how do you save ideas you find on the web? I want to save images and ideas, but want to be able to keep them organized....thanks! :)

  2. That's not a stupid question! It took me forever to figure out a good method. I use google bookmarks. It's nice because you can download the google toolbar, then you can just "star" sites as you go along. Once you've starred them, you click "manage bookmarks" and that takes you to a page where you can organize them into lists, delete ones you don't want, etc. I hope that helps!

  3. That Cheeseburger site is amazing! I have never seen anthing like that. What a cool way to view pages in a site.

    On another note, if a girl mastered those burgers, her man would be happy forever. They look amazing.

  4. It's true! I showed the site to Bran last night, and his mouth actually started watering. The man hasn't had a burger in too long, thanks to the low carb diet.... maybe I'll make him one after Church tomorrow since Sunday is our "no diet" day... :)
