I heard that my Parents took the Wilson article I posted to heart...

Evidently, they bought lots of good candy with which to delight all the little Glen Burnie chillins. Bran and I hadn't talked much about whether we'd give out candy or not, but when I heard that my parents were influenced by the article I posted, I realized it was just not right for me to not take it to heart! Plus, there's really no better way to meet your neighbors than to give them candy on Halloween. So, in keeping with the article, I went to Winco and bought lots and lots of candy... not the generic lolly pops or hard candies, or even tootsie rolls - I went straight for the snack sized (not bite sized!) Hersheys, Reecees, Snickers, and just about every other chocolatey thing in the aisle.

  1. Well..as usual, my plans were not to be! I was dragged kicking and screaming out to Red Lobster for dinner with the promise of being home in time to give out all of the candy I had purchased. On the way home, Delegate McConkey called and asked if we were stopping by to celebrate "Protestant Day". How could we resist that? We arrived home at 10:00 p.m. and the only kids still out were at Gentry's house down the street. So I now have a huge basket of candy, that is causing John John to loose self control, sitting on my table. Every guest who walks through my door will be given many special treats to take with them as they leave.
