I'm doing close to the same -- decluttering with a vengeance, but no waitressing. ;-) Got through the big pile on my desk and the laundry basket of flotsam and jetsam under my desk -- filing or otherwise dealing with some items I've shuffled from pile to pile for years. Down to a few odds and ends here, and then on to the cake decorating supplies in the dining room. Not that you needed to know all of that.... :-P
Brandon works at the local Building Supply store and loves it. He is a lover and a fighter, sensitive but strong. He has firm convictions and the humility to admit when he is wrong. He knows when it would be best for me to cook dinner, and when it would be best for us to go out. He is my life, and in February, he will be the amazing father of our daughter. I work at the local Best Western in one of their restaurants. I'm a good waitress and enjoy serving. I have discovered that you have to be a bit of a sales-person to work at a place where you don't really think the food is all that great. The Antkowiak influence in my life has helped with that greatly. I love interior decorating and renovating, and have learned that you don't have to spend a lot of money to have a pretty house. I love cooking, and especially the fact that my husband will eat anything I make. Lucky for him, I'm a decent cook and I like the same hearty meals he does.
We moved to Idaho in 2008, shortly after purchasing our gorgeous home with Bran's brother and parents (we're all co-owners). Bran and I spent our first month here renovating and painting our {new} old house. The previous owners had the entire thing painted white as a selling point, so our goal was to have no white walls by the time we were finished. We were almost completely successful, except for the stairwell leading down to the basement, but we'll paint it too someday!
