Our first Prenatal Doctor's Visit

We went to the doctor yesterday morning for our first baby appointment, which went great. It was much different from the last time we visited Dr. Shearer - instead of handing me an article about miscarriage, etc. she gave me a folder full of info about having a baby, what the baby will look like as the weeks go by, and another sonogram picture. God has been so good to us!

Because I can't help but worry, I asked her what our chances of miscarriage are at this point, and she reassured me that although there is still a slight chance, it will go away almost completely by my next appointment at 12 weeks. Even though I know that chance and statistics have nothing to do with the health of my baby, and that God has everything to do with it, it was still comforting to hear that things are looking good.

    I think the little dinosaur is adorable :)
    Memorizing scripture is a great thing to do now, like Matt 6:25-34
