I started watching Evie again this week (her grandma was in town last week and took care of her), and have been working at the Pantry full swing once again. Surprisingly, I feel like I've got more energy now than I did all last month. Maybe I just needed stuff to do!
Bran and I have been renovating our house once again, making the bold decision to make our upstairs living area our bedroom. We work best in frantic spurts, so the night he proposed that we change our layout, the rooms were torn apart, the bed and a dresser was moved, the couch disassembled, and a big hole knocked into the wall were our future closet will be! I'm very excited, as our new bedroom is way bigger that our old one, and the old room will make a perfect nursery/kids room. We're going to build a little hallway upstairs so that we can get to the bathroom without having to go into the nursery. I'm so excited about getting it all set up, and about getting to arrange and organize my bedroom. I'll post pictures when there's something to see.
For the sake of those of you who are interested in me and my adventures out here in Idaho, and not just the fact that I'm pregnant, I'm going to try and mix up my posts a bit so that my blog doesn't feel like it was hit by a "Babies 'R' Us" truck.
You'll have to forgive the post from the past few weeks, though, because I'm so excited I couldn't help myself. And I don't mean to say I'm not going to post any more preggy updates (my mom and mother in law would kill me for that!) I'm just going to post about normal stuff, too.
To anyone who says they don't want to hear about "preggy stuff", I am taking names ;)
ReplyDeleteBut even so, I'm sure they wouldn't kill you. At least not 'til after their grandbaby is born. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like hearing about it ALL! I check everyday to see what new news there is from the great northwest. Can't wait to see the changes you are making.Love you!
ReplyDeleteOh I love hearing about all of your life :) especially the
ReplyDelete"preggy" stuff. Your blog is marvelous all the time! Love you. Post pics of the renovations!
Ash, Share your season! You only have these firsts once, and it is a thrill to hear how consistent and gracious God is through time and across lives.
