- Only slept from midnight-3am last night. Not much fun.
- Woke up to find that my stomach is completely itch free, and my left arm (the one that was worst) seems to be getting better. It still burns at times, but not like it was.
- Left arm is now the worse of the two, but it's not terrible.
- The rash has mostly moved onto my legs at this point, which is terribly uncomfortable. My tar soap showers give me about an hour of relief, and then my legs start to itch in places and then generally burn all over.
- 37 week dr.'s appointment went well. No dilation, higher blood pressure than I normally have, but not something they're worried about, confirmed that I do in fact have PUPPPS, ok'd Benedryl *HAPPY DANCE! Big plans to drug myself up and get some sleep tonight!* <-- within the bounds of how "drugged up" a preggy lady can be and not harm the baby. :)
- Dr. asked if I want to talk about inducing a week or two early since having the baby will definitely make the rash go away. I told her I want to hang in there as long as possible before thinking about induction. As of right now I feel like I can make it to 40+ weeks, but I told her we'll see how I'm feeling in another few weeks and talk again :)

Ashley, you are such a long-suffering Mom-to-be! What perseverance. God is good, keep counting your blessings. Love you!
ReplyDeleteI have never had PUPPPs, but have heard that it is awful. Hang in there. I hope you get some relief soon.
