How big is baby?

Week 37 - She's the size of a watermelon!

How far along: 37 weeks - I'm officially FULL TERM!!

Maternity Clothes: Living in my sweats, and loving my long black skirt - super comfy.

Stretch Marks: yep...

Sleep: Over the past week I got a skin rash called PUPPPS (something something something pregnancy something). It's a pregnancy rash that 1 in 150 pregnant women get (yay me!). Basically it's the worst thing ever. Like hives all over that itch and burn and supposedly it doesn't go away until you have the baby. When I heard that, I told Bran I'm going to start doing jumping jacks until she comes. I've been researching it like crazy and it sounds like the only thing that works to get rid of it is this herbal remedy called Dandelion Root Extract. I'll be buying some from the Co-op tomorrow and I'm soooo praying that it takes this awful thing away.

Oh I posted all that under "sleep" because thanks to the rash I'm not sleeping at all. I was lucky enough to get some sleep Friday night thanks to exhausting myself at work, but last night I slept for a total of 1 hour, which is why I'm posting this at 5:30 in the morning. Ugh.

Best Moment this Week: Picked up everyone from the airport last night!

Movement: She's currently dancing around from side to side in my belly :)

Food Cravings: None that I can remember...

Gender: She's most definitely all girl!

Labor Signs: Still nothing, and thanks to the rash I'm ready for them to start!

Belly Button: Changes from innie to outie depending on where Emma is - it's so strange!

What I Miss: Not itching.

What I'm Looking Forward to this Week: Dr. appointment on Monday!

Weekly Wisdom: Trust in God for everything. <-- same as last week, but this time as a reminder for me as I struggle with the rash... He knows what I can handle and will protect and comfort me no matter what!

  1. A watermelon!!?? Can you believe it?

What a blessing that you can see the appropriate response to the rash is to trust in God for everything. Amen!
