New house inspiration

Bran and I loved making over our current house, and can't wait to get started on the next one.  We'll most likely be renting from my parents, and they've given us the ok to do whatever improvements we want.  Since we'll be renting, we don't want to go crazy, but at the same time we'll be living there for the next few years and want to make it something we love.

I haven't done any crazy planning yet since we won't be moving in until July, but I have started looking for some inspiration, and this is what I've found so far:

I love so many things about this room.  The white walls contrasted with the black chair and mirror,

the wood floors, and the patterned curtain are so perfect! 

If I could capture the feeling this room has in my own home, I'd be thrilled.

This little girl's room is adorable.  I love that it's so simple.

• I'm really loving gray bedrooms. It lets you add unexpected pops of color, which is so much fun. 

Not only do I love that this room is gray, but the matching nightstands and lamps look so nice and symmetrical.

This room is gorgeous.  Love the chandelier, and the big open window. And, once again, the gray is too cool.

• I'm also in love with tan/brown walls.  I'm not sure that the house will have enough natural light for us to pull off something so dark, but if I ever have a house with huge windows, I'm going to work brown in there somewhere!
